Community Risk Management Section
The Community Risk Management Section partners with residents and businesses to build a safer community by offering Fire Prevention and Community Assistance including plan review, fire prevention inspections, code enforcement, fire investigations, volunteer programs, and community relations/education. This division oversees community relations and education with the goal of informing residents, young and old, on how to prevent fires and injuries.
A fundamental portion of the Arizona Fire & Medical Authority mission is to assist the public in the protection of life and property by minimizing the impact of fire, medical emergencies and potential disasters or uncontrolled events. From school programs, to fire safety and prevention, to fall prevention for seniors, the Authority believes that community risk management through education is an important step to empower residents and spread public awareness about fire and life safety risks.
